Mouse Under The Microscope |
We like to publish microscopy images which show attention to method and which result in brilliant and informative pictures. This one by Ian Jones, a member of the Facebook Amateur Microscopy Social Group is a wonderful example of the inner workings of a baby mouse. He achieved this by taking individual photographs of various parts of a slide, then 'stitched' them together to form a whole image. Now... who wishes to label it? Imaged from a normal 3x1 slide issued by Zeiss as a commemorative slide. "Young mouse, horizontal (frontal) l.s. through entire specimen". Made by Johannes Lieder GmbH & Co. (https://www.lieder.de/).
