When presented with the final project for Print and Technology of Photomacrography, I began to search for interesting subjects to shoot. I remember sitting on my couch trying to think of what kind of subjects to explore when my roommate threw me a Jolly Rancher hard candy. As I opened it and began to eat it I realized how interesting it might look under a microscope. I started thinking about all of what other snacks and candies might look like. When shooting my subjects I was very surprised to see what some of them looked like under high magnification.
