| I chose to investigate mushrooms for a variety of different reasons. First of all are pretty unique with various gill structures, colors, shapes and sizes. Also there is a bit of mystery surrounding them with some mushrooms being deadly but with an edible mushroom that is nearly identical. Finally it was easy to find a large variety of affordable mushrooms. The varieties I chose are: - Bluefoot
- Chanterelle
- Shitake
- Oyster
- Royal Trumpet
All selected mushrooms are edible and easily available in a gourmet grocery store. | |
