Quiz Micscape challenges you! |

Last month I found this strange star
shaped marine organism in a catch with a plankton net. It
was rather translucent so the best image I could get was
with phase contrast illumination. I photographed it with a 16X objective and a 2.5X eyepiece. The size of the organism was about 0,4 mm. I have no idea what it is. The first three people with the good answer (or the most fantastic wild guesses) get a nice prize. Please send your answer to Wim van Egmond Editor's note: the quiz is now over. |
